Hey!

Been busy lately. That's because of SP OPEN HOUSE 2010! WOOHOO!!!

lol.

Well, my role at the open house was simple. Since I am in RED CROSS (WOOHOO!), my cca falls under the HEART CLUSTER. Basically SP has 4 Cluster of CCA which are HEART, BODY, MIND and SOUL.

So Red Cross falls under HEARTS! This means, each cca from this category is required to used RECYCLED materials to make them into products. Then, use that product to SELL to people during the open house.

The reasons is:

-ALL proceeds goes to SP NEEDY FUND! That's right people, it's for charity! :D :D :D
-To inform all those who came to SP open house that SP is going GREEN! (LOL!)
-To inform all sec sch students of your CCA!

LOL.

So in total, SP RCHN made.... Drum rolls please!

$61.85!

LOL. Not much right?! I know. WAIT. I forgot to tell you what products we did. LOL. So let's rewind!

So SP RCHN made this thingy. LOL. From all tshirts or unused ones, we cut out heart shapes. Sew the sides and fill it with cotton. Then, we put a pin at the back. So it's like this heart thingy with a pin where you can pin at your bag or shirt! :D

LOL. I hope you guys get it.

It was meant to be sold at $1.50 for small ones and $2 for big ones. So first day and second day didn't do very well. ):

So Saturday, we SLASHED the price to $1 each AND! with with every purchase, comes a FREE PEN! LOL. (Marketing strategy! lol) and we told people it was for charity and gave them the SAD FACE! lol...

Sales tripled in a day. Maybe because there is more people on sat = more buyers. LOL

YAY!
