I'm all alone at SP now. Time is 9.46am, Monday.
I just had my GEMS module MST at 8am. It was okay I guess.
Next test will be Java at 3pm at T2134. Kinda worried for it though. ):
Anyway, went for Standard Chartered Marathon first aid duty yesterday at 4am(Sunday morning). I was stationed at the ECP area. Woo.
About the duty, nothing much. Obviously, cramps was the most injury faced for the marathon. But I have to comment on one thing.
My partner for duty and me only had 2 heat rub/deep heat lotion. This lotion is to be applied on the injured area to relieve the pain.
But on the duty...
When there's one casualty who has cramps, I applied the heat rub BUT! you know wad happen?
Everybody started to ask for it. Wow. Nice one. Soon, I was out of the lotion at about 8.30am when the marathon starts at 6am. It was supposed to last till 12noon. Nice one.
Ya, I know. Don't tell them we got lotion. That is what I did. My IC told me to save it for the serious case but you know people ar. One person want, everybody also want to have. Sian.
So in conclusion, if you have brothers, sisters or God knows who running for the marathon, please ask them to bring one deep heat lotion for themselves. And don't complain that is the medics fault or we are unprepared or wad ar. I'll smack your face den you know. LOL.
Another thing is that there is this guy in the marathon just had knee surgery. WOW. Just had surgery and went for a marathon. Then what happen? Complained that he can't walk cos when he walk, there's pain. I was like =.= Why must you go for a marathon knowing that you just had a surgery.
In the end what happen to the guy? I called the emergency number and get him out of the marathon. -.-
Haha. Fun lah doing all this duties. Exposure. Some cases really bad, some really stupid. LOL
Haha. I got to study for Java. ALL THE BEST YEA!
